Author Biography

Kenneth H. Rosen is a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at AT&T Laboratories in Middletown, New Jersey. His current assignment involves the assessment of new technology and the creation of new services for AT&T. Dr. Rosen has written several leading textbooks and many articles. Rosen received his Ph.D. from MIT.

Douglas A. Host is a Technology Consultant at AT&T Laboratories, where he is responsible for technology assessment for intranet/Internet technology. Host received masters degrees in both computer science and library science at Rutgers University.

Richard R. Rosinski is Executive Director of Advanced Speed Business Development at Periphonics, where he is responsible for the worldwide deployment of voice response systems. He has written several books and numerous articles. Rosinski received his Ph.D. from Cornell University.
