Bill VanPatten is a professor of Spanish at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he is also the director of Spanish Basic Language.

Michael J. Leeser is an assistant professor of Spanish at Florida State University.

Gregory D. Keating is a Ph.D. candidate in Hispanic Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
