Author Biography

James Steel is Director of Research for Refco, Inc., where he is responsible for all research operations in the commodity markets. Previously, he was an assistant vice president for Refco and an energy and metals analyst. He has also done analysis in financial, equity, and commodity markets, and worked trading desks for Refco in New York, Houston, London, Paris, Hamburg, and Singapore. Mr. Steel has conducted trading seminars for corporate and country clients in Latin America, Europe, and the Far East, as well as to the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. Terry Wooten is an experienced financial journalist, with more than 25 years of experience. He is currently President and Editorial Director of Crosstie Media Services. Previously, he was Executive Vice President and Editor-in-Chief of Future World News, an international financial wire service. He had assignments in New York, London, and Chicago.
