Ronald A. Walsh is one of McGraw-Hill's most successful writers. An electromechanical design engineer for more than 40 years, he wrote Machining and Metalworking Handbook, Second Edition, Electromechanical Design Handbook, Third Edition, and is the co-author of Engineering Mathematics Handbook, Fourth Edition, all published by McGraw-Hill. Former director of research and development at the Powercon Corporation, Severn, Maryland, he now consults widely.
